Christian Louboutin Making Shoes for One and Only Resorts

The best way to lure fashionistas to your resort? Have a hot shoe designer create an exclusive line of shoes especially for your resort.

It also helps if your resort goes by the name One & Only, further heightening the exclusivity.

The JetSet Girls tell us:

We love that Christian Louboutin, the king of red-sole shoes, is partnering with the luxe One & Only resorts to create a limited collection. (He's rumoured to be a fan of the Maldives resort.)

The shoes...are available at their breathtaking resorts at Mauritius, the Bahamas, Cabo, Dubai and the Maldives.

Our favorite shoe designer told Travel+Leisure that his limited shoes will be mostly espadrilles, perfect for dressing up on vacation.

We've never been to a One & Only resort before but we are devotees of Monsieur Louboutin and this just might push us over the edge to visit Mexico.

If you still can't swing a trip to a One & Only where the room rates are roughly a pair of CL classic shoes ($550+), the shoes are available in the New York and London stores. Luxe Chronicles reports the shoes will retail for around $375 and include three wedge-heeled styles called the Cataribbon, the Tiburon and the Isabelle.

One & Only is in the midst of partnering with other designers such as Anya Hindmarch, Matthew Williamson and Alice Temperley, the latter who designed some sort of honeymoon tipi at the Mauritius resort.
