So you want free WiFi when you stay in a luxury hotel huh? Good luck! Send us a post card via FedEx overnight instead, it's sooo much cheaper than paying to send an email from your room. Unless you're staying at the Hotel de Crillon in Paris that is.

If you've been following our Best & Worst Wi-Fi Hotel Stories from the past few weeks, the overwhelming consensus is any hotel that costs more than $150 a night charges for WiFi, whereas any hotel UNDER $150 usually throws it in for nothing.

Hey, those luxury hotels do give you Premium internet access for the $24.95 you pay - it lets you feel like you're worth a million bucks while you browse the internet... Ok, maybe not - you just feel like you were robbed.

But! If you stay at the Hotel de Crillon in Paris--a six-star hotel which has been rated as the nicest and most exclusive hotel in the world--they'll throw in free WiFi during your stay! Thats free WiFi in the lobby, in your room, in the ballroom, in the bar, and in the bathroom!

How much will a room cost you to utilize this free Wi-Fi? The small rooms start at 660 euros on a cheap night, rising to 1,600 euros for the larger rooms (that converts to $1,011 & $2,400 respectively of our declining US Dollar, thank you Mr. Bush). You want free WiFi? Forget the Waldorf! Go to the Crillon!

Starwood Capital, the owner of the Hotel de Crillon is in the planning stages of opening up additional Crillon locations throughout the world, so perhaps this is a sign of an amenity to come? If the past is any indication, once a brand is touched by Barry Sternlicht, Starwood's CEO, everyone else jumps on the bandwagon. Does that mean in a few years WiFi will be free in all luxury hotels??

    i want to go here. i will go here. i am going to go here and hit up the ballroom in a Chanel couture gown and six-inch Christian Louboutin heels and pose with my Macbook. it will be my avatar picture for eternity!

    The luxury-hotel-paying-for-wi-fi issue is one of the great conundrums of modern existence. Just reading this makes me think that this place actually gets it. Thank you Hotel de Crillon!

    When LC and Whitney stayed here, they could've used the WiFi to order a new gown online!
