The Stan d'Arde blog claims in its first entry that it's going to keep us up-to-date with fashion, music, entertainment, dining (and the list goes on) in New York, Los Angeles and Miami, where you can find Standard Hotels. In fact, there is even a different blog address for each city, but apart from a change of background color, the content is identical.

And the content is where things have started to go wrong for Mr Stan d'Arde, we think. At the beginning, they did seem to feature exhibitions or restaurants as promised, but recently the posts seem to be all a bunch of advertising. Bodywash, USB jewelry, Armani rollerskates ... and not a post since April.

All of which leaves us pretty unimpressed with Stan's blogging abilities--hopefully the Standard Hotels chain are finding a replacement with a less corny name.
