Rooms feature Frette linens, Molton Brown toiletries and, according to the website, a minibar full of Dean and Deluca yummies (um, not free). The Night logo, a gothic "N", can be seen tiled on carpets throughout the hotel and if you're really into the whole theme, you can get a temporary "N" logo tattoo. Fierce! Uh, when in Rome, right?
Although the website is flashy, black (duh) and cool, it is fairly close to impossible to navigate. We hate hotel websites that make us jump through hoops and endure flash movies to get to where we need to go (and we're not even old!), so the Night website tested our patience a little bit.
Whether the Night guest experience is "good different" or "bad different", we're not sure (unless you're one of the aforementioned trendy jet-setting vampires, in which case it's probably "good different")-- but we do know it will give you a nice break from the stale, large and overpriced properties in the Times Square area.
Plus, the room rates, starting at $249, aren't too bad by midtown Manhattan standards. You might even see Pete Wentz, and how can you put a price tag on that?
