the thompson bh is on wilshire and surrounded by office buildings. then again, the windows aren't soundproofed so we sure would get complaints if a porno was being shot there right?

the standard downtown?  i don't know because downtown LA has lots of closer buildings than west LA.

Hmm...Cross the Beverly Hills Hotel and the Hotel Bel-Air off the list, they're in residential areas. Same with L'Hermitage and Peninsula (although the Peninsula bar used to be THE place for the high-price escorts to find, um, "patrons". Don't know if that's still the case since CAA moved down the street). Regent Bev Wil may be a possibility, but its two towers are really the only high-rises in the area, so I'd say no to that as well. Besides, all of these are WAY too expensive and I seriously doubt that they would allow such "filming" in the hotel.

I think Juliana's on the right track with the Thompson or Luxe on Rodeo. Or maybe the Avalon on Olympic?
