Say "Bonaire," that laid back little spit of land in the Caribbean, and people will respond, "diving paradise."

For decades, the island has been a world-class diving destination with a gorgeous reef. Go to Flickr and you'll get just a small taste of astonishing shots of the island from the underside.

But you're thinking there's no WAY you can take pictures like that, right? This can be remedied.

Divi Flamingo Beach Resort just announced its onsite camera shop, Capture Photo, is offering a class for all levels of swimmers and shutterbugs to perfect their sub-aquatic shots.

Beginners will get their heads around the whole process; intermediates will get their skills tweaked, and experts will receive serious technical advice, plus a 4x6 color print of your favorite shot.

Don't have an underwater camera? You can rent one, silly! There's an array of models to be had, starting at US$30 per day -- plus lenses and strobes that can trick out the whole package, or you can rent the extras on their own.

They also offer all-day photo/dive boat trips, printing, matting & framing, slurping all your pics onto a DVD or CD -- heck, you can even rent an underwater Handycam and have a movie made of you swimming among the seahorses.

This is VERY smart, IOHO. Not only will you come home with incredible shots of your dives, but also a new skill. Supremely cool.

Soon you'll be taking shots like this one....
