Get your hot dogs, sunscreen and beer guts ready: Independence Day is just two weeks away! If you're headed to a big city for some fireworks fun, we'll be taking a look at hotels with prime fireworks views. Have a favorite hotel for gawking at bombs bursting in air? Send it our way.
We've hit all the major Fourth of July hotspots in the Northeast, but for those of you looking to catch fireworks on the beach, we suggest heading down to Miami.
There's always a stuff going on in the city so there are going to be fireworks all over the place, but we recommend you make the swanky new Regent Bal Harbouryour temporary headquarters for the Fourth of July weekend.
Starting at $510 per night, the hotel is offering a Fourth of July package for the holiday weekend (3rd, 4th and 5th) which includes:
Three nights luxury accommodations for two in a Superior Bay View Room, Full breakfast for two, prepared daily, and access to 4th of July events at the View Bar, Aqua Soleil and beach.
You can hang out by the pool and watch the fireworks or set up a nice beach blanket on the sand -- lovely! And while you're there, check out one of the hotel's signature cocktails, the Lavender Sidecar (lavender honey syrup, brandy and cointreau).
But when you're done with the festivities, do us a favor: stop by Gloria Estefan's hotel Costa D'Este and let us know what it's like!
Reservations can be made here.
