Unlike any other, from the big red front doors, to the concrete walls, this is the most unique place we have ever stayed! We stayed for New Years Eve and went to The Loft party. The food was excellent, the music was perfect, the candlelight was magical.
Also, for a hip hotel plunked in the middle of a Dallas suburb, we hear The Loft, NYLO's chic bar, is super-packed with hotel guests and local cocktail enthusiasts alike--a huge change from our visit, when the place was so empty we felt like sad and lonely boozefaces at what should have been prime bar time.
Unfortunately, the bar is so hoppin' that things are pretty loud up in the guest rooms--which could prove to be a problem since the brand targets business travelers, who are required to, you know, wake up in the mornings. User razorbacks1 warns:
If you stay anywhere near the bar...don't expect to sleep until 2 am. This place is packed all night with what appears to be non-hotel guests.
Still, we totally feel like the first to discover the cool new Plano hotspot and that makes us happy. Maybe we should go to the Loft at NYLO for cocktails to celebrate.
