This might sound like a bizarre potpurri of smells but these were actually the top smells chosen in a survey. The Telegraph reports:
The perfumes were chosen after a survey was carried out among guests at Travelodge Birmingham Fort Dunlop. Guests were asked what smells would be most likely to comfort them after midnight in their hotel room. The largest number of guests plumped for the smell of the sea, perhaps because of being so far away from it in Birmingham
But some guests are already concerned that the smells might linger in the room.
For example: What if the person who stayed in the room before you chose baby powder and you wanted the smell of freshly cut grass. Would the baby powder smell still be lingering? We'll let Travelodge work that one out.
