Last night, Starwood threw a big party to celebrate the launch of their Aloft brand (perhaps you've heard about it?) after the first Aloft officially opened last week in Montreal.
The bash, held in the Aloft "test-lab"/warehouse in Hawthorne, New York (about 10 miles from Starwood's White Plains HQ), featured entertainment by former Destiny's Child-er Michelle Williams.
Williams has, apparently, launched a solo career and the Aloft event doubled as a "Listening Party" for her new album.
The shindig was open to Starwood Preferred Guests Platinum members -- and one of the 150-ish partygoers won a trip to Aloft Beijing. Jealous!
