We're already anxiously awaiting the Mondrian South Beach (which should have opened in May but now has been moved to December 2008) and now we have one more thing to salivate over: the 4,000-square-foot Agua Spa.
While an Agua already exists at fellow Miami hotel Delano, this one will up the ante with new signature treatments, like the "Heavenly Hangover" package and the "Travelers Retreat," as well as an exclusive skincare line by Sjal and separate Agua product line by Korres.
The spa--the first designed by Marcel Wanders, who also had free reign over the lobby and guest rooms--also will focus on men's treatments and products.
Like the hotel, the spa will have views of the Biscayne Bay and feature lounges with private outdoor balconies. Truthfully, we can't think of a better place to escape this heat than a spa on the beach, but alas, the hotel doesn't open until December--the perfect time for us to start talking about how there's no better place to escape the cold weather than a spa on the beach.
