Love It or Hate It? The Mondrian West Hollywood's New Rooms

We knew the Mondrian West Hollywood was getting a new look and much like that of the Tides South Beach, the renovations seemed to take forever. We guess celebrity vomit is hard to clean up.

Yet a special tipster infiltrated some rooms at the hotel and sent back these pictures.

The full reveal of the new decor, by Benjamin Noriega-Oritz, isn't going to happen until the fall. When we were last there in mid-April, the front of the hotel was still boarded up but the public areas seemed to be ok.

So, what do you think: love it or hate it? We like the orange touches and despite a lot of that "whimsical" decor which makes the room less stark/starcke, it still remains very Mondrian-y. Here's what the rooms used to look like.

    Kinda like my great-aunt's couch, headboard and chairs.  But without the plastic.

    i was watching ugly betty last night and the Mode offices reminded me of these rooms...

    hate it

    dont like it also the the beds look smaller , i like the fact that before you always got a king bed now it looks like there  doubles and quenns.hopefuly the put in flat screen tvs .i wounder if the made any of the rooms smaller.
