The elevator system gets a lot of screen space in reviews from recent guests over at TripAdvisor. They're pretty snazzy--all glass--and the hotel website itself shows them off as the "high speed elevators" even before it talks about restaurants or any other amenities.
But opinion is sharply divided between the lovers and haters of these elevators; some complain that there can often be a long wait time and then they're really crowded. Perhaps you need to book a low floor if you're the type who's easily frustrated by these kind of things.
There are two packages we quite like--one is the Views package, which guarantees a room looking over Times Square and breakfast, and starts at $379.
The other is for international guests, starting at $354 a night, and that includes breakfast, a guidebook and best of all, a new suitcase so you can take all your shopping home.
