Word to all you would-be Hamptonites. If you don't have a share and you don't want to brave the dark hotel secret of Andre Balazs, there's another option for you.

From the peeps who brought you the CAIN nightclub brand comes The Surf Lodge, which will open over Memorial Day weekend on the farthest point of Long Island in Montauk.

The 32-room hotel is located a half-mile from the beach on Fort Pond.

Rooms and public areas at the Surf Lodge will have a subtle surf theme running through them: white-washed walls, sun bleached pine flooring, outsized photos and artwork from surfers, surf lovers and all things beach.

All rooms with have lake views and 12 of them will have private courtyards and hot tubs, which is like ubiquitous Hamptons make-out setting. According to the press release, amenities include flat-screen TVs, iPod docks and the vague "more" which we hope is PR-speak for some booze in the mini-bar.

However, the real exciting piece of the property for us is the restaurant from Top Chef's season two contest and diabetic hottie, Sam Talbot. He'll be creating lunch and dinner menus using only local fresh ingredients.

The Surf Lodge will also have a 2,600-sq.ft. lounge called THE DECK with not only a full-sized bar but a raw bar too. This is where the Surf Lodge concert series will be held featuring music acts from big-name artists.

And speaking of hotel retail, a BEACH shop will be curated by fashion designer Tracey Feith and will be a "one-stop shop for sunblock, sunglasses, a bathing suit and even a sexy dress for a night out." Of course, you need a fierce 'do to go with your outfits so the Surf Lodge will feature a hair salon, TRIM, by stylist Danny DiMauro.

Room rates will be around $300 in the summer season. The website is up but images, info and a reservations system is forthcoming.

The Surf Lodge is the first hotel from MCM Hospitality which consists of Jamie Mulholland, Jayma Cardoso and Robert McKinley. This group is responsible for CAIN in NYC and at The Cove in Atlantis as well as CAIN Estate in Southhampton, Goldbar in downtown NYC and a CAIN outpost coming soon to London.

The next two hotels, or lodges, are tentatively titled Snow Lodge and Sunset Lodge. While we aren't sure about those locations we're gonna guess Aspen and Hollywood.
