It's Honors time. No, we're not nervous! It's the Hilton HHonors program, a loyalty guest program that has just announced new ways to rent cars, win points, and maybe even win tickets to the Tonys in New York.
Members who register in the HHonors program (for free!) can earn up to 2,000 bonus points for renting a car through Budget (in the U.S. or Canada) through June 30, 2008.

Here's how it works: A rental for one to three days earns 1,000 HHonors bonus points; for rentals of four days or more, members will receive 2,000 HHonors bonus points. After June 30, the points shrink down to only 250, so act fast.
The awards program also just rolled out an online auction to win a Tony Awards 2008 package in New York. You must bid to win in increments of 10,000 points (the equivalent of US$25), with a minimum bid of 100,000 points. As of press time, the pot was up to a cool 300,000 points. Hoo boy.
Bidding ends this Friday, May 23 (try your luck here). The winner hits the swagpot: Roundtrip airfare for two and two nights at the Hilton New York, go figure -- plus two tickets to see Young Frankenstein at the Hilton Theatre (how did they pull that off, one wonders?).
Finally, the winner scores two tickets to see the Tony Awards the night of June 15, which will surely be a gala of stars. Go, Patti Lupone!
The best part is all the winner's points will be donated to their charity of choice, with a pick of more than a dozen organizations, through the Hilton Family Give Back program. It's pretty much a slam dunk.
