Donald Trump's Namesake Restaurant Opens at Trump Las Vegas
In case you were eagerly anticipating a Trump-branded restaurant, your time has come. DJT, the Donald's initials, has opened inside the Trump Las Vegas.
The chef at DJT is Joseph Isidori, Donald's personal chef who has made rounds at other Trump establishments.
"I have known Chef Joe for many years, and he has impressed my family and me with his talent, creativity and innovation year after year," said Trump. "Naturally, I would only choose the best of the best for my signature restaurant. Chef Joe is a star."
So far, the dinner menu is full of The Donald's favorite steakhouse fare like a Butter Lettuce Salad "with classic wedge flavors", a Butter-Whipped Potato Puree and an Ice Cream Sundae. All of Mr. Trump's menu faves are called Mr. Trump's. Example: Mr. Trump's Ice Cream Sundae. And we're assuming, the steak entreess are Grade A Trump Steaks, right?
DJT also has an eight-course chef's table called The Deal at $200 a pop. Don't forget to pop-in for breakfast for the Ivanka Trump's Caviar Breakfast, an egg-white omelet with Osetra caviar, chopped egg yolk, sweet red onion, chive and whipped creme fraiche, with buckwheat blini-toast points and house spiced hash browns. This will set you back $175.
The restaurant doesn't serve lunch but instead has a champagne tasting menu, High Champagne, that's available from 3 to 7pm Thursday through Sunday along with a light menu. And you can totally order Trump Vodka at the bar. Or Trump Water if you wanna take it easy.
DJT is open for Breakfast 6:30-11 a.m. and dinner 6-11 p.m. daily; the lounge is open 11 a.m.-midnight daily. Brunch is served 6:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on Sundays only.
