Virgin America has just petitioned the FAA for eight daily arrival slots into Chicago O'Hare this week. If approved the service would start sometime in Novemeber, meaning that West Coasters could hit up Chicago as early as...this winter. Not the best time to visit Chi-town. Hopefully, Miami service will start soon too.
