Pills, Not Pillows, Cause for Thompson Hotel Complaint

Wednesday's Gatecrasher had an item that a recent New York female guest, Katy Valentine, at the new Thompson Hotel in La-La Land got ripped, er ripped off. Evidently bottles and bottles of her attention deficit/hyperactivity/narcolepsy/depression pills had gone missing from the room.
Note: the gossip item said the new Thompson hotel which would make it the Thompson Beverly Hills. But they posted pictures of the Hollywood Roosevelt. So we aren't sure at which place the incident occurred.
Here's what went down:
After Valentine complained to the front desk, who reportedly stated the most likely scenario was that the housekeeper "accidentally" knocked the bottles into the trash and later emptied said can, management said they'd look into it and get back to her.
Supposedly, management didn't get back to Valentine (does anyone in LA ever return your calls?).
Of course, some of the meds noted in her guest complaint could explain the situation, as their many side effects include, among others, amnesia (she forgot where she unpacked them), anxiety (OMG, Los Angeles without a pill?) and other neuro-psychiatric symptoms (contacting a gossip columnist instead of local police?)
HotelChatter has actually stayed at the Roosevelt where they have candy M&Ms placed inside fake pharmacy med bottles on the nightstands. So if it happened here, maybe housekeeping thought it was one of these fake prescription bottles?
Anyhow, a hotel rep told Gatecrasher:
"We responded to any complaint that this client had and compensated some of her expenses on the bill."
Hopefully, it was enough to pay for her refills.
No word when or if this hotel guest made it back to New York in one piece, but we figure that without her meds, she had a memorable experience.
