Gansevoort South To Open Today

Today should be D-day for the Gansevoort South in Miami Beach. According to the hotel website, you can book a deluxe double room for tonight at $595 or a deluxe double ocean view for $725.

Remember the hotel is in a major soft-opening phase with limited facilities (for instance, the David Barton Gym won't open until May.)

Last we heard, only a few floors would be open but the main pool area overlooking the beach and the rooftop pool and the Beach Club would be open. Also the restaurant by the pool and in-room dining would be in service.

However, we say call the hotel before you go to find out what exactly is open and what is still under construction. This way you won't be surprised when you get there.
