Once in the "dungeon-like club", you'll find exposed brick walls, low ceilings, and three small rooms. If you head to the back room, you'll find a mini-NYC-version of Tryst with red walls, red banquettes and a red stripper pole.
You will probably need to print these directions out as the hotel has no mention of the bar on its website and we're not even sure a front desk staffer would be able to tell you how to get there, although you can approach it via the Mercer Kitchen, the hotel's restaurant. And we highly suggest booking a room at the hotel (rates start around $535 a night) to guarantee getting in.
Some more background on the place: Apparently it opened a few weeks ago but was closed almost immediately due to unsafe carbon monoxide levels. Hmm...maybe a bar isn't meant to be built two floors into the basement.
