Westin's Heavenly Bed Takes to the Skies

February 20, 2008 at 11:33 AM | 1 Comment

Westin Hotels & Resorts and United Airlines have partnered to bring the hotelier's signature Heavenly Bed products to the carrier's first- and business-class travelers on flights between New York and California.

Hmm... could this be an inconspicuous invitation to join the mile-high club?

The amenities, which include an oversized Heavenly blanket and pillow, are part of United's p.s. service, only available on flights between the Big Apple and the Golden State.

The duo also is working on custom-designed Westin Renewal Lounges for select United Red Carpet Clubs at JFK, Los Angeles and San Francisco airports, set to debut this summer.

Currently, not much info on these lounges is available, except that they will provide Red Carpet Club guests with "a soothing environment with many spa-like amenities for relaxing and escaping the hustle and bustle of an airport."
