Skiing Elevated to New Luxe Levels at Three Forks Ranch

We’re hardly outdoor adventurers (hello, room service), but every so often a lodge makes us want to reconnect with our deeply repressed explorers within. Especially when a hotel makes the great outdoors sound oh-so luxurious.

Three Forks Ranch has done just that, recently unveiling “the world’s only five-billion star” (their words, not ours) concierge alpine skiing program to coincide with its inaugural winter season. The lodge is actually a working cattle ranch (!) in Savery, Wyoming, perched along the Colorado border. And starting Dec. 15, guests will be guided through nearby Steamboat Springs's best trails by a personal skiing guide.

First you'll go to a ski-in, ski-out condo to get outfitted head-to-toe with equipment. From there, expertly navigate the slopes with your personal ski buddy. At the end of the day, unwind at the spa and enjoy a wine tasting. And get this--the service comes at no extra charge.

Not that the winter packages at Three Forks Ranch are cheap, mind you. Rates start at $4,500 per person for a three-night stay and snowball from there. Other package perks: all-inclusive meals; a free massage per person; unlimited cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling; access to the steam room, pool, and fitness center; plus dog sledding, sleigh rides, and round-trip shuttle transport from Hayden, Colorado, or Dixon, Wyoming (in case that’s where you’re headed from).

The winter season runs through March 15.

Wow, I have to admit that this place

Wow, I have to admit that this place does sound super luxurious indeed. Little did I know going through ski lessons could be so thrilling yet relaxing at the very same time. Usually people do not really want to take lessons is because of the anxiety or nervousness they think those lessons might stir about in them. However, I guess this place will introduce to them a whole new experience in this industry. Now people will see this sport from a different perspective and engage in it with full dedication as they will definitely enjoy doing it.
