The Tides Riviera Maya and Zihuatanejo Are Giving Airfare Credits

We aren't the biggest fans of Mexico but if there were ever a time for us to seriously considering a trip south of the border it would be now. Now that the Tides Riviera Maya and the Tides Zihuatanejo are offering discounts in the form of airfare credits for their Fly Free promotion. Guests can get airfare credits starting at $500 and up to $1,500 a person.
Here's how it works, from the hotel:
Guest buys ticket in advance and then they show ticket to front desk and we will adjust the amount off of the room folio. Black-out dates apply, subject to availability at time of request.
The offer does not apply to groups and may not be combined with other offers. Also, the more you spend at the hotel the higher your airfare credit. But still the discounts look pretty good to us. Good enough to book and brave Mexico.
Here's the breakdown of room rates and airfare credits:
Tides Riviera Maya
· Royal villa: rates from $785, $500 per person airfare credit
· Tides Villa: rates from $1600, $1500 per person airfare credit
Tides Zihuatanejo
· Lagoon suite: rates from $570 up to $500 per person airfare credit
· Beach suite: rates from $780 up to $700 per person airfare credit
· Penthouse rates from $970, up to $800 per person airfare credit
· Tides suite: rates from $1150 up to $1000 per person airfare credit.
There is a limit of two people per room. Travel must be booked by April 30, 2009 for stays through December 18, 2009.
