Bobby Flay, the man who created what we like to call "The Stoner" (a delicious hamburger with chips already inside the bun) for its supreme munchie factor, is bringing his comfort food to Mohegan Sun.

Come summer 2009, the famously lentil-averse, ginger-haired (but not Croc-wearing) Iron Chef joins the ranks of Michael Jordan and Jimmy Buffet by hooking Connecticut up with a Bar Americain and Bobby's Burger Palace. This will be the third location for his burger joint and the second outpost of Bar Americain. The latter is replacing Fidelia's in Casino of the Sky and the former will be in Casino of the Earth.

"I'm thrilled to be opening two of my restaurants at Mohegan Sun," said the star of the Emmy-winning Boy Meets Grill, and Throwdown! With Bobby Flay TV shows. "It's my first foray into New England and I'm looking forward to adding to the excitement that makes this property a world-class destination."

Indeed, we're pretty sure Uncasville, Connecticut probably could use a little more excitement.

    He just opened one by me a few weeks ago - grreatest hamburgers ever. And the fries! and the Fry Sauce! ahhhhh. I was there last night - don't make me want to go again tonight.

    whoa whoa whoa

    it is common knowledge that the greatest burger in the history of the world comes from ray's hell burger in arlington, virginia. gotta get the ray's heck sauce on it too.  
    bobby flay burgers. pfff. silly.

    LARKBURGER in Edwards, Colorado!  The BabyLark is just the right size to go with the greatest truffle/parmesan hand(?)cut-skinny fries!
