The components of the program:
· Gyms and Training Experiences: Fitness centers now feature time-efficient training programs designed by Core Performance to work with your schedule. You can pick 20- to 30- minute “themed” workouts to get your exercise in. Sweat through programs like the "Jet Lag Buster" or the "Meeting Manager" – you'll see instructions for each themed workout on the fitness center walls.
· Healthy Food: Core Performance's nutritionists collaborated with the hotel chain to create and implement healthier options on restaurant and room service menus and have specified those items (like a Scrambled Egg White and Turkey Wrap and a portobello burger) as "Core Performance Endorsed."
· In-Room Workouts: If the gym ain't yo' thang, you can work out in your room with 30-minute Video On Demand workouts for free, or order up a complimentary “workout in a bag” (workout cards, a workout mat, foam rolls, stretch rope and a massage stick).
If you really dug one of the workouts you did in your room or in the hotel fitness center, you can always check out Sheratonfitness.com for the same sorts of tips and post-travel workout routines. The program has already launched at a few properties (including the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown and Sheraton Seattle) and will roll out worldwide throughout 2009.
Thanks for looking out for our butts (the size of them, at least), Sheraton.
