The Empire Hotel Drops to $159 a Night

We were loving on The Empire Hotel over the summer, thanks to its recent renovations and especially for its hot rooftop area with plenty of celeb sightings. But we always wondered if we would love it when the weather turned? You know, like Sandy and Danny Zuko. (We'll be Sandy, you be Danny.)

Guess what? It turns out we are still into the Empire because the hotel is offering rates for the month of January for $159 via TravelZoo. A regular room rate here is about $300 a night. Rates will increase to $189 through March but that's still under $200 and a good deal for NYC. Plus, the renovations at this hotel aren't even a year old. Blackout dates however do apply from Jan. 23-27 and Feb. 13-17.
