While Thompson Hotels has been offering up rooms at their new hotels in New York for cheap via Quikbook, this room is still gonna cost you a pretty penny.

It's the Penthouse Suite at 6 Columbus, approximately 1,100 sq.ft. of duplex space with 19 foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. The space also features two over-sized balconies with views of Columbus Circle and Central Park. Staying here will cost you about $3,500 a night. Not sure if you can find a discount on this room on Quikbook but remember, the WiFi is free.

    Love the carpeting but hate the accent pillows. It's a question of graphics vs. animal prints here, and graphics should always rule over animal print in the name of greater mass appeal and contemporary aesthetic. And don't get me started on that gigantic light chandelier looking like pustules. I'm testy today.
