Shangri-La Santa Monica To Try Again Later This Week

The Shangri-La Hotel in Santa Monica, Calif. is having a tough time getting its hotel re-opened to guests after its extensive renovations. The hotel's new opening date was supposed to be yesterday but it's still not quite there. We did learn that the hotel may try again this Friday, Dec. 19th.

Rooms are open on that date for $265 a night (on the hotel's website) but several services like the restaurant and the pool are not ready. In fact, they are still under construction so be aware of that when checking in.
