New York's Soho House has a new set of gams. Well, not really. The hotel most known for its rooftop pool, recently redid their screening room and The White Room and invited the uber-exclusive renamed film series: IN-House to test things out. HotelChatter slipped into a cocktail hour for a screening of "The Wrestler" where Mickey Rourke is a hulking standout in both the film and in the delicately posh White Room.

Last Tuesday was the fancypants SoHo House cocktail hour honoring director extraordinaire Mr. Darren Aronofsky and his Academy-buzzed about film. (It stars the nearly epic Rourke and the utterly ageless Marisa Tomei.)

Hosted by THE WEEK and the one and only Alec Baldwin, it's the second IN-House event at the members-only and friends of members-only digs. (Although word is they are opening opportunities for non-members to rent some of their facilities!!!)

The White Room has a noticeably chicer upgrade with the signature SoHo House eclectic, lush furniture. Most importantly is the relocated bar positioned for better beverage feng shui. The White Room facelift is age appropriate with a touch of old Hollywood glam. It's charming, cozy and romantic, and still white -- less so, however, with some muted accents.

Besides the unabashedly liberal Alec, his mega conservative brother Stephen Baldwin was there to mix things up politically. Sexy beast of MSNBC fame Dan Abrams (sans Elle McPherson), Jane Krakowski, Stone Temple Pilots former frontman Scott Weiland and his girlfriend actress Paz de la Huerta all popped by, along with Butter and 1Oak nightlife impresario Scott Sartiano.

Apparently Sartiano's not sweating the recession. He told us business is taking him to Dubai and Brazil. There's no chance his triple digit prices on bottles are getting a price slash. Financial crisis, shmynancial shmisis!

"We didn't really see a Wall Street crowd in Butter and 1Oak anyway," said Sartiano.

Let's cross our fingers neither the Wall St or Butter/1Oak crowd score memberships at SoHo House. That would mean some seriously dire financial straights!
