Aside from intensive cooking classes, the camp also involves a trip to the Long Meadow Ranch where guests can tour the farm and check out the produce used by the restaurant which has a Michelin Star.
Pretty much every meal during these three days will involve truffles, even breakfast. (That's a truffled egg above.) Guests will also depart with a truffle goodie bag stuffed with the tools to make his or her own truffle specialties upon returning home.
The price of the camp is a steep as some truffles--$2,900 per student based on single occupancy or $4,800 per couple based on double occupancy. This includes three nights at the hotel in a one-bedroom suite, five meals, cooking classes, goodie bags, recipes and most importantly wine. Even gratuities are included. You might be thinking, "All this for some truffles?" And you're right. But it does beat shelling out $200G for one.
