Loyal guests of Four Seasons Hotels are no doubt thrilled that the chain has opened their newest hotel, The Four Seasons Seattle, giving them yet another location to travel to. We know about you Four Seasons loyalists--if there ain't a Four Seasons there, you won't go.

The hotel officially opened today with the Art Restaurant and Lounge inside. Perfect for the city's Thursday Art Walk, no? There's also a spa on site whose treatments incorporate natural elements of the coastal region of Puget Sound.

Room rates are steep at $365 a night with the presidential suite going for $5,000 a night. Then again, that's just chump change to Four Seasons' co-owner and Microsoft god Bill Gates who lives nearby in Medina.

Is this the second in Seattle?

When I worked for Four Seasons at the Clift in San Francisco in 1981/82, there was a fairly new Four Seasons in Seattle at the time.  This isn't Four Seasons first venture there..... but, No one probably cares.  lol
