The SLS is Now Taking Guests

Today we were given a tour of the brand new SLS Hotel in Los Angeles and while we, unfortunately, were not allowed to take pictures of the inside we did get to see pretty much everything in the hotel from top to bottom.

We will have more of what's inside the hotel tomorrow but for now enjoy this snapshot from the "guests-only" lobby entrance of Starck-inspired furniture and the legendary SLS logo. The entrance also has a sitting room vibe complete with a fireplace, bookshelves (with real books, an unusual thing for LA), whimsical seating and a red carpeted walkway. Welcome to Los Angeles. Oh and did we mention this sitting area is outside? Yeah, it's pretty amazing as is the rest of the hotel.

We found king rooms available for this weekend online at $355 a night. The hotel's spa and restaurant are not opened yet and several other parts of the hotel are still getting the finishing touches. But if you're looking to stay here before the rates jump over $400, now is the time to book it.
