The rooms are our favorite part (and the most finished part). See that gray wall paper? It reflects the weather, essentially. It was overcast so the walls were gray, but when it's sunny the walls shine, and when the sun sets they take on a purple-y glow. See, it's fancy wallpaper with textured silver paint.
We're also digging the ocean views. The beach is literally across the street. (Half the rooms will have "promenade" views, but we think those aren't open yet.)
Let's say you're in your ocean view room or suite and you'd really like to enjoy the ocean view while taking a bubble bath in the soaking tub. You've come to the right place. The bathroom, which has non-transparent glass walls, has window doors from the tub so that you can see out into the room and enjoy the view or the flatscreen HDTV.

There are a couple hang ups. The concrete still needs to be poured for the pool and outdoor patio area and the restaurant is waiting for a few more pieces. These are supposed to be ready by mid-to-late December, but don't count on these for your stay. And there might be construction noise from 8 am to 4 pm.

They're still offering the same opening rates as previously reported. Deluxe ocean view rooms start at $265, but we hear if you're in a group you might be able to work out an even better deal.
