There's tons of hotel news flying around this week and we don't have time to give each and every story the love and attention it may deserve, so you will have to settle for some news briefs.

· More Detes on the Future Hotel Room: More pictures of that whole weird LAVA room has come online and is it just us or is this a total hotel bonerkiller? The room will use high-tech lighting to help guests adjust from jet-lag but can they do something about the stark white furniture? Also, do not be hungover in this room. [Gizmodo]

· Bellevue Hospital Hotel? Rumour return that the craziest crazy place in NYC might turn into a hotel. Or it might not. It's not exactly the best time to open an asylum hotel. [Curbed]

· Even Northwest England Hotels Need Nookie Too: The new Vincent Hotel in Southport is offering “intimate seduction kits” in all of its rooms.
