The Stratosphere Las Vegas Also Has $25 Room Rates

Yesterday when we found out that the Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas was offering $25 room rates, we thought these were probably the cheapest room rates in Vegas. We take that back.

On Hotwire's Travel Ticker we saw rooms at the Stratosphere were also going for $25 a night, mid-week. Rates bump up to $40 over the weekend. The deal is good on select dates from now through January 31st and include 20 percent off spa services, a complimentary thrill-ride pass with the purchase of one and admission into the 70s-themed nightclub Poly Esthers before 11pm.

Here are the dates for the $25 rate:

· November 19-20, 23-26, 30, 2008
· December 1-4, 7-11, 14-18, 21-23, 2008
· January 4-6, 11-15, 25-29, 2009

And here are the dates for the weekends:

· $35: December 19-20, 2008
·$40: December 12-13, 2008
·$50: November 21-22, 29, 2008; January 2-3, 2009

We plugged in the mid-week dates of December 7-9 and sure enough, a room rate of $24.95 popped up. Back in the Las Vegas hotel boom days of 2007, the Stratosphere was always a cheap find with room rates dipping as low as $40. But $25 rooms are just unreal. Now, if only our flights to Vegas could experience such a fare drop like that.
