There's tons of hotel news flying around this week and we don't have time to give each and every story the love and attention it may deserve, so you will have to settle for some news briefs.

· $25 Rooms in Vegas: The Orleans in Vegas has $25 rooms. That's like one spin at a high-limit slot machine at the Wynn. Book it. [Official Site]
· San Fran Hotel Gives Away Its Towels: Hotel Fusion is giving its guests bath towels embroidered with "I Didn't Steal my Towel from Hotel Fusion." And yes, you can take them home with you. [Press Release]
· Another Hotel Dream Dies: The Gaylord Entertainment Co, which owns hotels in Nashville and Orlando, has called off plans for a Chula Vista, Calif., resort and convention hotel due to the crappy economy. [CNN]
· Holidays in San Diego Half-Off: The Omni Hotel San Diego is offering rooms at "half-off" during the holidays. That's about $159 a night and it's valid from Nov. 20, 2008, to Jan. 4, 2009. [LA Times Daily Deal Blog]
· Flights to DC Also Insane: It's not just hotel rates that are going through the roof for Barack Obama's inauguration. Flight prices are climbing up too. Crazy. Y'all know it's cold in DC in January, right? [The Commercial Appeal]
