On Friday night, Victoria's Secret models Heidi Klum, Marisa Miller, and Doutzen Kroes cut the ribbon alongside Jeffrey Soffer and Don Soffer, Fontainebleau's owner and executive chairman. A magical moment indeed.
The stars on hand to watch the ribbon-cutting at the Friday night party were, we hear, quite plentiful. The crowd ran the gamut from A-listers to Z-listers: Gwyneth Paltrow, Terrence Howard, A-Rod, Kate Hudson, Kim Kardashian, Kristin Cavallari and Brody Jenner all made appearances.

And remember how we were speculating that maybe the "surprise performance from a Grammy Award winning global icon" was maybe Madonna? It wasn't; it was Mariah Carey! Still totally awesome! And, according to the MiamiNewTimes blog, she was indeed on fire (or "on fi-yah," if you please).
On Saturday night, all eyes were on the elaborate runway set erected by the Fontainebleau's brand new poolscape for the Victoria's Secret fashion show.
USA Today says the show was totally glitzy and over-the-top (obviously):
The lingerie line's holiday-themed event featured a full orchestra, a glitter-drenched runway, 35 models and two performances by Usher. Victoria's Secret veteran Heidi Klum walked the runway only three times, but her showstopping gift-bow wings closed the festivities with panache. Husband Seal watched from the front row, flanked by pals Lenny Kravitz, Mario Lopez and Howard.
Hot. Apparently, a 5-million-dollar diamond-studded bra made an appearance on Adriana Lima's chest during the show, too.
You can see it all (and try to sneak some peaks at the Fontainebleau's new look if you can divert your eyes from the models) when the show airs on Dec. 3 at 10 p.m. on CBS.
