Michael Scott Gives Us The Definition of a Concierge

It took us a few days to get around to it but we finally watched last week's episode of The Office the other night and what a treat it was. Aside from being one of the best episodes of the past two seasons, it also dealt with a business trip. Meaning Michael, Andy and Oscar flew to Winnipeg and stayed in a hotel.

While we don't know which hotel in Winnipeg they hit up, we do know that Michael gave the best definition ever of a concierge:

A concierge is the Winnipeg equivalent of a geisha. This is a woman who has been trained in the fine art of fanciness and pleasure. And when you meet one, it is intoxicating. Just what the doctor ordered.

Michael also manages to meet Concierge Marie later that night at a bar and after quizzing her on her concierge skills--"It's midnight on Christmas Eve and you need to get dry-cleaning done, what do you do?"--he ends up making out with her in an alley.

But like most women Michael hooks up with, Concierge Marie was horrified by her mistake the next morning, refusing to eat breakfast with Michael and leaving his shoes outside the door, rather than risk him entering the room to retrieve them.

Oh well, not every hotel experience can be as magical as Sandals.

oh michael scott.

I kind of wished the whole ep was be Michael quizzing her. (Of course, then I would have missed drunk Oscar/Andy which... tough call.)
