Loden Vancouver, the funky new B.C. hotel that has the distinction of being Kor Hotels' first Canadian venture, made a big splash when it debuted on October 18th (which was almost a year late, but that's not important now).

Rates at the swanky 77-room, contemporary waterfront property are starting at $199 tonight — but there are some killer packages on the way for the holiday season if you want a little somethin' more.

Five Star Alliance has a fabulous rundown of some holiday offers from the hotel. We've pulled a couple of the highlights for you:

· Halo, Hello, Hello: Swap snow shovelling for loving and doving. Whisk your angel to Loden Vancouver’s Halo Suite — the 1600-square foot, exclusive penthouse floor — for a heaven-sent holiday of romance on high. Valet parking, custom crafted festive cocktails upon arrival, in-suite couple massage and a made-to-order organic breakfast in bed. Holiday lights won’t be all that’s glowing this season. $1999 per night.

· Twelve Nights of Christmas Cocktails: Starting December 8, for twelve nights, a new cocktail will be presented. Samples include the Naughty & Nice: Belvedere Vodka, Menthe Pastille, Valrhona Chocolate; The Grinch: Calvados, Green Chartreuse, Lime Juice, Bitters; and the Jack Skellington: Jack Daniel’s, Fresh Apple Juice, Fig Syrup, Lemon Juice, Ginger.

· Moscow and Mistletoe: Straight to the pointe, celebrate the season with tickets for two to enjoy the Moscow Classical Ballet performing Nutcracker at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Stay at Loden Vancouver and dine at Voya Restaurant between December 28 - 30. Prices vary, dependent on availability.

Check out a couple more offers here. And since there are no reviews of the Loden on TripAdvisor yet, we're totally curious to know how this place is doing and how it's faring with guests. If you check out (or have checked out) the place for yourself, let us know what you thought!
