W Hotels Want to Set You Up with Jonathan Adler

Whether or not you are a fan of Top Design, you've probably heard designer/potter Jonathan Adler's name around town lately. Known for his mod pots and long-time Barneys beau (now husband, since they married in California before Prop 8) Simon Doonan, Jonathan represents a certain type of lifestyle, one filled with quirky design elements, beautiful people and crazy patterns.

Seeking to tap into the upper half of the creative class, W Hotels has added Jonathan as an offering amongst many other eclectic experiences on their list of services.

What does this mean, exactly? Well, from November 24 you'll be able to book the W's "Design Dreams" Package which includes some "creative cocktails," 20% off Adler items in the W store, and some Jonathan-designed keepsakes to make your stay that much more branded. Take 'em home or hawk them on ebay, but you'll leave with a ceramic key box and a purple candle sporting the words "Wonder" and "Lust" on the sides--hot.

While there's no word yet on the pricing for the package, we do know the hefty cost of adding a personal shopping trip with the design dude himself; $10,000 will get you all of the above plus lunch and a spree with Adler at one of his New York stores. Presumably he'll be less critical of your taste than he was as a judge on Top Design, unless you're into that type of thing.
