Recent reports that Coconut Grove's Mayfair Hotel was getting "dirtier and dirtier by the day" had us confused: what was the deal here?

We were diggin' it back when Kimpton managed the hotel, but the gross reviews on TripAdvisor and mysterious construction noises made us worry a little -- not to mention our confusion upon hearing from Kimpton that the upcoming Epic Hotel was going to be their first Florida property (were they ashamed? Or did they just mean it was the first Florida property Kimpton owned?)

Well, Michelle Rodriguez -- the arrest-prone star of Lost and Girlfight -- confirmed that things were a little bit dirty. In the sexual sense, at least.

The NY Daily News reports that Michelle, who stayed at the Mayfair this past weekend "with a 'very pretty' ponytailed Latina," was spotted standing in the hallway banging on a guestroom door on Sunday morning.

An "eyewitness reports" (and the censorship job is theirs, not ours):

"I woke up Sunday morning to the sounds of two women yelling, and one of them was smashing the door knocker very loudly," one exhausted guest tells us. "I peeked out and saw it was [Rodriguez]. She's screaming, 'Open up, let me in, b------!'"

What finally got Michelle's female companion to open up, you ask? Apparently Roridguez's threats of holding a sex toy hostage was enough to break the woman on the other side of the door.

So: you were wondering if the Mayfair was as dirty as some say it is? Dirty fights and dirty sex toys point to yes.
