Tamani Hotel Marina Knows Women Want Soft Blankets

Setting aside women only floors is definitely a current trend in hotels across the world. We're wondering why men aren't agitating for some men-only floors, although we hate to think what they'd do there. In any case, the latest bandwagon joiner is the Tamani Hotel Marina in Dubai which has made its 29th floor available for women only:

The idea of having a Ladies Only floor is to ensure that our female guests feel as relaxed and secure as they would in their own home  -  with the added attraction of first-class service with an authentic Arabian flavour.

Actually we'd rather have the first-class service in our own home (with or without the Arabian flavour) but beggars can't be choosers.

The funny thing is the special amenities that the Tamani has decided are "what women want": female staff only, calorie-specific meals and softer blankets. Apologies to the men and couples who are left eating calorie-laden meals and sleeping with rough blankets.

    Men only?

I know exactly what men would do on a men-only floor. They'd look at each other and say, "hey, where are all the women?"

Apologies to my gay friends. Couldn't find a way to work you into the joke.

    Well, that explains ...

... why there are no men only floors. Thanks Stan :-)
