So what is open? Well, you can use that dining credit at the Cabana Beach Club (formerly known as Aquatica), the Waterfall Grill, and the Gia Italian Kitchen and Wine bar. A Starbucks is opening inside the hotel in mid-November and another signature restaurant will open next year.
A spa is coming later this spring, called Spa of Eden of course, but in the meantime guests can seek relaxation in one of the hotel's six infinity-edged pools.
As for the rooms, the Resort Tower rooms are done and include large screen LCD TVs, iPod docking stations, large guest bathrooms and "an abundance of oversized fluffy pillows." Yipee.
This resort sounds pretty impressive for a Renaissance Hotel (which is part of Marriott and which is getting a brand-wide makeover) so we might want to try it out. However, we are going to wait until the rest of the resort is finished so we get our $379 worth. That and we want to wait until the bi-level bungalow suites with floating staircases are finished in the Ocean Tower. Oh yeah, baby.
