For Spring Breakers and exhausted 9 to 5-ers looking for a chill beach vacay this coming winter, 16 acres of Caribbean waterfront will sound pretty darn good. And the humungous Solis The Palmyra in Jamaica, poised to open in March, looks like it might be able to deliver.

Perched on the shores of Montego Bay, the hotel has three towers, courtyards, and ocean views out of every room; a ballroom, event lawn, and gazebo for weddings; two pools, beachside cabanas, and tons of adventure gear for the using. There's also a 30,000 square foot spa, designed by award-winning spa designer Susan Harmsworth.

Guests will get preferential treatment at the nearby award-winning golf courses. And be sure to wear your bathing suit under your clothes on your flight into Montego Bay: the hotel is only 15 minutes from the airport.

It's news to us that a hotel can earn a Leading Hotels of the World designation without even officially opening its doors, but somehow The Palmyra is already on the list.

The website isn't quite yet tricked out; the large array of room, suite, and villas are missing full descriptions and attendant pictures. Judging from one of the pictures, the 11 three-story villas have their own pools -- we'd like to see exactly what those look like on the inside.

The site is also bragging that every reservation is guaranteed a two-level upgrade; "Example; Reserve a Standard Guestroom and be automatically upgraded to a One Bedroom Suite. Reserve a One Bedroom Suite and receive a Two Bedroom Suite at no extra cost." Hopefully the hotel will keep their word - especially if you reserve a king bed and show up with four people in tow.

Rates will start at $189 per night during low season, $389 per night at the high, and $599 per night during the 2010 holiday season.
