Maybe we’re being tough because it’s early days yet--this Ramada just began their blog a month ago--but there’s a lot that could be improved. First, it’s not too attractive--just the plainest of Wordpress blog templates. Second, it’s mostly about blowing the hotel’s own trumpet and explaining why we definitely want to stay there. And third, well, we’re sorry to sound all school teacher-ish, but there are missing apostrophes and spelling mistakes all over the place. And we know that their blog editor would be putting squiggly underlines on these. There’s no excuse.

What we like: its honesty. In this hotel, "You will see a few scratches here and there maybe even a stain or two that we haven’t gotten to". And the friendly tone is good and bloggy. So there’s definitely potential here and perhaps if we check back in a few months we’ll actually like the Chicago Hotel Blog. We’re open-minded enough for that.
