The in-room dining menu was so full of "fluff" words that carried zero substance and no direct meaning to the food being advertised, it simply lead to confusion.
It was the type of menu one would expect in an upper scale restaurant that comes with a snotty server to explain what they are trying to say. It was like reading a Congressional bill, full of irrelevant double speak in terms that I have not heard anyone use in standard business language.**
The second issue was the Westin Workout; it was closed due to high winds. It seems that they have the entire workout facility outside.....not sure why that makes sense in a location where it does rain, does get chilly and more often than not the air quality is not all that healthy.
I am not sure where the Westin team got off track, but they would do good to add some common sense to what they do.
**Ed. Note: On the bright side, the hotel offers 24-hour room service.
Spent a night or two at the Westin South Coast Plaza? Let us know how it went.
