Yup. Sure looks like hell to us.

Okay, we're not gonna lie: we were a little bit startled when we received word of the "One Way Ticket to Hell...oween" Package from Luxe Hotel Rodeo Drive. Cause why would you advertise a stay in your hotel as a one-way ticket to hell? Who do they think they are, the Hotel Pennsylvania? (Zing!)

But the more we thought about it, the more we could get behind the name: we've had our share of hellacious experiences on Rodeo Drive ourselves. Hell on the wallet, hell on the feet (we felt obligated to wear stilettos), hell on the boyfriend. Perhaps the hotel understands that.

But really, this is probably doesn't go beyond being a cutesy name for their Halloween package, which includes one night in a room on Halloween weekend, a welcome Halloween amenity, a free glass of wine or cappuccino and continental breakfast for two.

Also, the package includes transportation to the nutty-awesome Halloween Carnaval in West Hollywood.

This ticket to hell will cost you $329 for October 31st, and additional nights rates start at $229 for the room only if you want to roll in and stay the 29th to the 2nd. Use promo code ONEWAY.

    Design

I've been wanting to redecorate a guest bedroom in a nice hotel style because frankly, right now it looks like a prison cell. Apparently the Luxe Hotel has stolen my style for their guest rooms.

    Prison cells

We stayed at the Sheraton Four Points -NYC last weekend and whoa, those rooms are prison cells!
Poop-colored walls and cheap gun-metal bedspreads .......3 girls sharing a 10 x 14' room(including the bathroom)just doesn't leave room for shopping bags.  If we lowered the roman blinds (you had to for privacy) the room was so dark and dimly lit you couldn't find your undies in your suitcase.
Their miniscule lobby area was decorated for Halloween (we think) with drugstore variety decorations....you know the kind that your kindergarden teacher put up on the board.  Very tacky!  The best was the coffee and juice bar set up for guests in the 'lounge/dining' area off the lobby.  Styro to go cups so we assumed (since there was no one manning the station) that we could help ourselves and GO!  Nope..........the guy vacuuming the floor stopped us and asked us for $3.25 per cup!  Very, very tacky!
The bright spot. There is a fabulous Whole Foods just around the corner.  Ahhhh.......coffee..
