More $25 Hotels in Tokyo, Sydney and Jakarta

Part two of our $25-bucks hotels feature. No extra charge for the advice.
Juyoh Hotel is a clean, cheerful little place in the heart of Tokyo offering Japanese style "3-tatami rooms" with futon matresses. With shared bathroom facilities this isn't the Four Seasons, but at 3,200 Yen/night (or about $29) some will find it a worthwhile concession. Rooms are either private singles or doubles and include the use of linens, bath towels and Yukata (traditional Japanese night clothes). We always wanted to wear one of those. Free WiFi and storage are avaialble, as well as Japanese green tea.
Although word among travelers-in-the-know is that many hotels in Jakarta, Indonesia are shoddy at best, Hotel Karya Bahana is not only a safe, clean place to lay your head, but it actually offers an amenity or two. For about 17 bucks, you get a private room complete with air-conditioning, television, and full buffet breakfast. Located in Jalan Jaksa, a favorite with backpackers, expats, and American men in mid-life crisis.
Situated on the beautiful tree-lined Victoria Street, Chilli Blue is billed as a friendly, clean and comfortable alternative to Sidney's pricey hotel scene. Technically speaking, this one's a hostel, complete with common areas and kitchen. But with private rooms and baths, it still has the feel of a basic hotel. Take part in the organized social nights if you're into that sort of thing, or use it as a home base to explore the colorful Kings Cross district, boasting many of the city's best pubs, clubs and restaurants.
Included in the low, low rates are free full breakfast, free Internet access, luggage storage and security lockers, and cable television. Expect to pay around $30 bucks for a private room, and significantly less for a dorm-style one.
