Most of us can only dream of having a movie-star existence. Those who can afford to at least emulate the lives of stars would do well to spend a night or two in the Intercontinental Hotel's Cinema Suite on Hyde Park Corner (where else?)

Graced with killer views of the park itself, the main attraction of the room is, of course, the cinema, fitted out with six reclining chairs and a 5ft screen boasting some 250 movies to choose from.

Each seat comes with a serve of Harrod's popcorn and there's the option of plugging in your Ipod and listening to some tunes instead should none of the films on offer grab you.

The cinema suite also features a dining table to seat six, further inciting the desire to invite a few friends and show off your flashy, albeit temporary pad. At a cool $5,875 per night, it's not a cheap way to impress, but we're sure they'll appreciate the gesture.
