W Philadelphia May Actually Get Built!
Earlier this month, Starwood stalker Andrew Calvo tipped us off to the new W that's planned for Boston. Now he's got the dirt on the W Philadelphia Hotel & Residences, which is slated to open at the very end of 2009.
After seeing these renderings, which show a big "W" at the top of the building surrounded by lights, it will stick out in the skyline. Now the historic PSFS letters on the Loews Philadelphia Hotel won't be the only letters that can be seen from miles around.
Now, we first heard about this property waaaay back in 2006, so we're not chilling the champagne just yet. But putting some renderings together is a good first step!
